Karbala, Apr. 10 (AKnews) – Sadrist official announced Saturday that the Iraqi National Alliance has gathered attempts to form coalition with the Iraqi caretaker premier’s list the State of Law Coalition.

“The Iraqi National Coalition has paced important steps towards forming coalition with the State of Law Coalition”, Sadrist leader and member of the security committee at Karbala province council Jasm al-Fatalawi said.

Al-Fatalawi added: they have repeatedly been saying that they are ready to form coalition with any list, conditioning that no Iraqi component to be neglected which have garnered voter’s support.

“The sadists call for implementing the entire Iraqi constitutional articles. There is a special article to Kirkuk and we support its implementation, regardless it interests the Kurds or others” shedding lights on the Kirkuk-related issues and other controversial issues al-Fatalawi said.

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced the total primary results of the Iraqi March 7 parliamentary poll on Mar. 26.

The number of the won seats for some winners were as such: al-Iraqia: 91 seats, The State of Law Coalition 89, The Iraqi National Alliance 70, the KAL 43, Gorran (change) 8, Tawafuq Coalition 6, Iraqi Unity Alliance and the Islamic Union of Kurdistan 4 seats each, and the Islamic Group in Kurdistan 2 seats.
