شن اياد علاوي زعيم القائمة العراقية هجوماً شديداً على رئيس الوزراء نوري المالكي متهماً إياه بالتفرد في السلطة، وأنه عمل على اساس مبدأ الحزب الواحد. وقال اياد علاوي أنه" لن يقبل التعجل في تشكيل حكومة اذا ما حالفه الحض بالوصول اليها لان هذا التعجل سيؤدي الى نفس الكوارث لاربع سنوات أخرى على العراق". وشدد علاوي على ضرورة ان" تقوم حكومة جديدة تعكس الطيف الوطني العراقي، وان تكون قادرة على تنفيذ القرار وان تمتلك هذه الحكومة المنتظرة الرؤية الواضحة". He stressed: the need for "a new government reflecting the whole spectrum of the Iraqi National, and to be able to implement the resolution and that this government has a clear vision ahead."
