The Minister of Oil, Jabbar Ali Allaibi, on Tuesday, the North Oil companies and oil projects and a company affiliated to the ministry 's pipeline developed an emergency plan to repair the pipeline owned by Baghdad, in order to export crude oil from the Kirkuk oilfields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

Al-Luaibi said in a statement to the ministry that "instructed the North Oil Company and the oil projects company and the pipeline company, to develop an urgent plan to undertake the project of a comprehensive and urgent repair and rehabilitation of the network of pipelines carrying crude oil from the Kirkuk fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
"The financial and economic difficulties and challenges will not prevent the Ministry of Oil to rehabilitate the pipeline network of oil exports and the possibilities available and effort and national expertise, and support and follow-up and support by the Prime Minister [Haider Abadi]."
For his part, spokesman for the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad, in the same statement, said that "the pipes during the period of the control of gangs and the terrorist call on some cities in the north of the country, was subjected to systematic sabotage operations."
"Iraq hopes to restore its previous export capacity - which is currently stalled - which was between 250 to 400 thousand barrels per day, with the possibility of adding new energies to boost exports through the northern port."
Crude has stopped pumping through the Baghdad-owned line since the summer of 2014, when a terrorist raided the north and west of the country.
The pipeline in Nineveh province, Mosul, which was recovered by Iraqi forces about two months ago, passes from the grip of Dahesh.
The Iraqi government refuses to hold any talks with the region before the cancellation of the results of the referendum.

Baghdad imposed a ban on international flights to and from the region after the provincial government refused to hand over Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports to the federal government.
The central government also imposed financial sanctions on the region, and asked the neighboring countries to close the border crossings and limit dealing with Baghdad in terms of oil exports.
