Basra Council approves 23 municipality projects

BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: Basra Provincial Council has approved 23 municipalities projects.

“The projects’ total cost exceeds ID7.6 billion,” Ahmed al-Silaiti, the council’s deputy head, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Tuesday.
He said that the projects will be funded according to the regions development budget of 2010.
The oil-rich city of Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad.
