Saleh encourages voting

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The country’s future is hinging on the issue of renewing power and leadership, Iraqi Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Burham Saleh said on Friday.

“Different Kurdish political parties should be unified to defend Kurdish achievements and gains,” Saleh said in the release received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He called on the Kurds to vote in Iraq’s upcoming parliamentary election on March 7, 2010.
