MP on the Liberal Bloc, called on the Prime Minister to intervene to reduce the depletion of hard currency.
Al-Moussawi said in a statement received by "Mawazin News" that "the Central Bank sells the dollar through banks for each passport holds a travel visa amount of three thousand dollars (1200) Iraqi dinars," explaining that "the faces entering the banks to buy three thousand dollars are from Currency traders and not travelers ".
Al-Moussawi called on the financial affairs to "disclose the economicfeasibility of this measure to hold accountable those responsible for the loss of state funds and to stop this measure to prevent the depletion of hard currency from the Iraqi reserve of the Central Bank."
