The commander of the armed forces, Prime Minister Haider Abadi, said Tuesday that the security forces are preparing to free areas in the west of the island in Anbar, not reached by an Iraqi force since 2003.

"The security forces are preparing to liberate areas in the westernpart of the island in Anbar, which no Iraqi force has reached since 2003," Abadi said at a weekly conference held at the government palace in Baghdad.

It is noteworthy that the liberated forces are engaged in the last military operations, to clear the western areas of the country's preaching force, as left to the operation only the district of Rawah west of Anbar province, and declares the liberation of Iraq from the grip of the organization in full.
