Baghdad and Erbil are listening to important agreements, including oil and airports

delegation from the federal government and a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Monday drafted minutes of important agreements in the outstanding problems.
A statement issued by the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received the agency of all Iraq [where] a copy of it that "the Supreme Committee, which directed the Prime Minister Haider Abadi, formedby the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers [Mahdi Alalak] for the purpose of conducting a comprehensive review of outstanding issues with the Kurdistan Regional Government held its second meeting in Erbil On Monday with representatives of the territorial government headed by the Minister of the Interior Karim Sinjari.
"The prime minister's keenness to study the outstanding problems in a constructive manner and under the constants of the Iraqi constitution and federal laws."
The minister also expressed his hope for finding solutions to all the issues on the agenda of the meeting

The statement pointed out that "the meetings were dominated by an atmosphere of trust and understanding and ended with the drafting of minutes for each of the axes mentioned, including a number of recommendations will be submitted under the provisions of the Diwani Order No. 137 of 2017, which formed the High Committee with the continuation of the teams that have not completed their tasks of work and reporting Subsequent suffix ".
A delegation of the government, headed by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mehdi Alaq arrived earlier in the day to Erbil, to hold talks with the Kurdistan Regional Government on issues relating to border ports, airports and other matters of the Ministry of Interior.
According to Kurdish media, the two sides reached a preliminary agreement on a number of outstanding issues, including airports, border crossings and oil and salaries of employees.
It said Baghdad had agreed to a joint administration of border crossings, airports and dams, provided that the intelligence department at airports and ports was in the hands of the federal government.
According to the information, the Kurdistan Regional Government has indicated its readiness to hand over 250 thousand barrels of oil per day to the federal government, and the delivery of all revenues, in exchange for the federal government to send salaries and staff of the region.
With regard to issues of nationality and passports, the two sides agreed that these departments be administered by Baghdad, and that federal regulations and laws regarding foreign residents and their residence in the region be applied.
The media indicated that the delegations of the two governments sent two copies of the preliminary agreement between them to Prime Minister Haider Abadi, and the presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan region, to sign it.
