Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Tuesday that Japan has expressed its willingness to invest the associated gas in Iraq, adding that Japanese companies have also expressed "confidence and enthusiasm" to enter the country.
"Japan has shown its willingness to investthe associated gas in Iraq, and the major Japanese companies have shown confidence and enthusiasm to enter Iraq," Abadi said at his weekly conference at the government palace in Baghdad.
Abadi, who met during an official visit to the Japanese capital Tokyo last week, the largest Japanese companies, and discussed with them the possibility of investing in Iraq, after his security and eliminate the preacher.
