Central sales increased to $ 119 million 4-16-2018




The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign currency sales rose to $ 119.38 million from $ 117.44 million on Sunday, up $ 1.94 million.

The Central Bank, in a statement obtained "Trend Press" a copy of it, the exchange rate amountedto 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 31 banks, and 3 companies transfer money.

The total sales for the day were $ 148.38 million, the bank said.

Amounts sold to boost bank balances abroad were $ 118.57 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 810,000.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad is at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
