Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi, the fire of the last wells of burning oil in the field of Ajil, Salahuddin province by the technical and engineering staff of the North Oil Company and its supporters.
Al-Luaibi said in a press statement that "the technical and engineering staff of the North Oil Company and its supporters in the oil companies and civil defense has been able to extinguish well 42and control it fully in the oil field in the province of Salah al-Din, the last wells burning in the field."
Al-Luaibi added that "the national cadres proved their skills in dealing with complex wells fires professionally and managed to extinguish the fire professionally and relying on the available facilities and available without the help of international companies, which saved the treasury of millions of hard currency."
The statement added that "the minister efforts of all employees of the North Oil Company and the oil companies chock and civil defense, stressing the Ministry's keenness to accelerate the rehabilitation and development of Ajil field and to develop the necessary plans for it."
For his part, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad, "The Minister of Oil has instructed to honor all those who contributed to achieve this national achievement and extinguish the last well of the field of oil Ajil, which (bands gangs terrorist) ignited while fleeing the region."
