Iraq sells oil for more than $ 7.5 billion in May

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Ministry of Oil announced the increase in the total quantities exported and revenues achieved for the month of May compared to the previous months of 2018, according to preliminary statistics from the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).
The ministry spokesman Asim Jihad said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "the total quantitiesexported crude oil for the month of May from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 108 million and 194 thousand and 920 barrels, revenues amounted to 7 billion 566 million and 294 one thousand dollars".
"The statistics did not record exports from Kirkuk fields," he said.
Jihad pointed out that "the daily rate of exports amounted to 3 million and 490 thousand barrels."
He explained that "the average price per barrel amounted to {69,932} dollars."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Oil and through its belief in informing the people on the export operations and revenues from it took this monthly action."
