Kurdish Deputy: We will not give up the budget of the region 17% at all

The MP from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mayada al-Najjar, her party's adherence to the Kurdistan region in the financial budget for 2019.

"We are strongly adhering to the region's share of the budget and we will never give it up."
Najjar stressed that "the share of the region is a sacred cause because it means the livelihood of our Kurdish people and includes the salaries of the staff of the region and its needs of services, security, energy and other vital sectors of life."
"The members of Parliament are representatives of the people of Kurdistan and they must carry out their moral and humanitarian duty to protect the constitutional rights of the Kurds."
