BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The House of Representatives voted on Tuesday to give confidence to three ministers, while rejecting the vote on the candidates of the ministries of education, immigration and displaced people.
A statement by the Information Department of the House of Representatives received the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it today, "At the outset of the meeting, the Council voted to submitthe third paragraph of the agenda for the completion of the vote on the ministerial lineup."
In the same matter, the President of the Council presented the letter addressed by the Prime Minister to the House of Representatives on 4/12, containing the remaining names to fill the ministerial posts for submission to vote, noting that the letter included the provision of alternative names during the period between 24 - 48 hours in case Refuse current names.
The Council voted to give confidence to the ministers individually, namely Nuri Nateq al-Dulaimi, Minister of Planning, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Abdul Amir Al-Hamdani, Minister of Culture. The Council refused to grant confidence to the candidate of the Ministry of Education, , As well as postponement of the vote on the candidates of the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Justice.
