{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Foreign Relations Committee called on the Iraqi government to re-evaluate relations with the United States.
"Unfortunately, the government is not serious in the statement of the US presence in Iraq in terms ofnumbers, and we called for a re-evaluation of the relationship between the two countries," said a member of the committee on the reform and reconstruction bloc Nabil al-Tarfi told the {Euphrates News}.
"We have made recommendations to the government in foreign policy, but we have no executive authority to implement these recommendations."
"The year 2019 is not the year 2011 [year withdrawal of US troops from Iraq], and the re-evaluation of relations with the United States in accordance with common interests and sovereignty is the basis and this is not only with the United States."
