(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbusi, on the support of Kuwait in agreements with the Iraqi government.
This came during a meeting at his office in Baghdad on Thursday with Kuwaiti Minister of Trade and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan and his accompanying delegation.
"The Iraqi parliament supports efforts to develop trade relationsbetween Iraq and Kuwait," Halaboussi said in a statement. "We in the legislative authority will support the agreements you have reached with the Iraqi government and whenever the wheel of work is broken, we will push it to Imam ".
He expressed his "support for the proposal to establish a free trade zone between Iraq and Kuwait," stressing that "this will contribute to activating the trade movement in the interest of the two countries."
