The Central Bank of Iraq announced a large increase in the number of beneficiaries of the initiative one trillion dinars allocated to support small and medium enterprises in the framework of his desire to contribute to support the Iraqi economy and continued to monitor the results of initiativeslaunched.
A statement issued by the bank received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "The amounts borrowed, reached during the months of this year only, the value of 31 billion and 667 million dinars, when compared to the amount borrowed during the whole of last year, which amounted to 33 billion and 600 million Dinar".
"We note that the size of the increase is approaching weakness, which is a sign of a remarkable success in encouraging young people to launch their own investment projects that are distributed across different sectors."
The One Trillion Small and Medium Enterprise Initiative is an initiative launched and funded by the Central Bank of Iraq at the end of 2015 to encourage young people to invest in the agricultural, industrial, commercial and service sectors through loans ranging from 5 to 50 million JD, note that there are exceptions that make the amount of the loan up to the limit of 10 million dinars, which are exceptions related to the feasibility of the project and its ability to run the workforce.
