On Tuesday (24 March 2020), Nada Shaker Jawdat, the deputy for the “Al-Nasr” coalition, revealed that there are positive dialogues between Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zarfi and leaders of the Shiite political blocs to resolve the file of the new cabinet.

Jawdat said in an interviewwith (Baghdad Today), "The Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zrafi is conducting intensive dialogues and moves with the leaders of the Shiite political blocs, including the Al-Fatah coalition led by Hadi al-Amiri and the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki."

She added, "The dialogues of the Prime Minister-designate, Adnan al-Zarfi, are continuing, and during a period there will be a supportive position for him among the leaders of the Shiite political blocs."

Jawdat expected that "Al-Zarfi would be able to obtain a parliamentary majority, to vote on granting his cabinet cabinet confidence in the Iraqi parliament, before the constitutional deadline expires."

The deputy of the victory coalition, Faleh Al-Ziyadi, had revealed, earlier, the progress he described as great progress made by Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zorfi in his preliminary negotiations to form the government.

Al-Ziyadi said to (Baghdad Today), "Until this moment there is no agreement between the Shiite forces to reject Al-Zarfi as announced, but there is clear and tangible progress and a change in the positions of some political forces to support the Adnan Al-Zarfi government."

He pointed out that "the Prime Minister-designate, is currently engaged in preliminary negotiations with all forces, and it is progressing at a good, positive and escalating pace with all forces and components."

The prime minister-designate, Adnan Al-Zorfi, confirmed on Thursday (19 March 2020) his intention to form a government that represents all Iraqis and is able to meet the aspirations of the demonstrators.

On Tuesday (17 March 2020), President of the Republic, Barham Salih, commissioned the head of the parliamentary victory bloc, Adnan Al-Zarfi, to form the new government, succeeding the former taxpayer, Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, who presented an official apology for forming the government.
