Deputy Naji Idris confirmed on Sunday that the parliament will hold its session in the next two weeks to vote on the new government, indicating that there are no problems in holding a voting session if the parliament presides for it.
In a statement to the official Al-Sabah newspaper, he said, "The parliament mayhold a session during the next two weeks to vote on the new government."
He added that "within the next two weeks, the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi will be presented to the Parliament at the latest, noting that there are no problems in holding a voting session if the Speaker calls for her."
For his part, al-Rabe`i, a coalition MP, told Al-Sabah that “the dispute within the Shiite house in the nomination of Adnan al-Zarfi is partly because the forces rejecting him feel his power and are afraid of a prime minister who stands up for them.” He will announce his government cabin in the next two weeks.
