The US embassy in Baghdad, on Tuesday (31 March 2020), issued a health alert to its citizens present in the country, after recording cases of coronavirus infection in Iraq, while confirming that the trips will not be free, and the ticket price reaches 2500 dollars per person.

A statement issued by the embassy said, "Both the US embassy in Baghdad and the US Consulate General in Erbil are working to determine options for flights that may be available this week."

The statement included a link, through which registration for those wishing to leave Iraq from the embassy citizens, can be registered on the next flight.

He warned that "flights will not be free," noting that "you will have to book and pay for all the tickets. It is possible that the estimated costs of flights heading to the United States are more than 2500 USD per ticket."

He pointed out that "the destinations of flights will be limited, and after arriving in the United States, passengers will be responsible for arranging their domestic transportation."

He pointed out that "the embassy is not responsible for the policies related to accompanying luggage and pets."

Yesterday, Monday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 83 new cases of coronavirus, while revealing the total cases of infection and recovery in the country.

The ministry said in a statement that the ministry's laboratories had 83 new confirmed infections with the emerging corona virus, distributed as follows: - Baghdad, Rusafa: 2 - Baghdad, Medical City: 1 - Baghdad, Karkh: 11 - Basra: 10 - Najaf: 18 - Sulaimaniya: 14 - Karbala: 3 Muthanna: 12 - Erbil: 10 - Duhok: 2 ".

The Ministry confirmed the registration of 4 new deaths (two cases in Najaf and the case of Wasit and the fourth in Diyala) and the registration of 9 cases of complete recovery (6 cases in Najaf and 3 cases in Erbil).

She added that "according to the new toll, the number of recorded injuries in Iraq rose to 630, death to 46 and full recovery to 152."
