The head of the Iraqi coalition, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the British ambassador Stephen Hickey the development, on Wednesday, of Iraq's economic and cultural relations and the exchange of experiences with the United Kingdom, and the developments of the domestic and international political scene, indicating that Iraq suffers from a liquidity crisis and has a lot of economic potential.
Al-Hakim said in a statement, "His vision is to solve the political crisis in Iraq through the cross-coalition coalition," stressing that it "represents a solution for the current stage and a greater solution for the next stage, calling for the importance of going to elections in which electoral security, opportunities for competition and freedom of choice are achieved."
And he pointed out "the importance of addressing the economic crisis that Iraq is going through by diversifying sources of income, revitalizing productive sectors and supporting investment," noting that "Iraq suffers from a liquidity crisis and has a lot of economic potential as well as a permanent bet on Iraqi human resources and energies."
