ID26 billion loans from agriculture ministry

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The ministry of agriculture announced on Wednesday that it agreed to give loans with more than 26 billion Iraqis dinars for irrigation projects and to finance small farmers.

“Agriculture Minister, Akram al-Hakim, agreed to give 1953 loans with more than 26 billion dinars,” said a ministry’s statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The amounts will cover 673 irrigation projects with 10.856 billion Iraqi dinars, as well as eight loans for big investment projects which will receive 3 billion Iraqi dinars,” the statement added.
