National Alliance leads in Missan election

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi National Alliance List could get six out of the ten seats allocated to Missan Province in the Iraqi Parliament, a member of the list said on Friday.

“The other four seats could go to the Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law) List of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki,” Rafeaa Abdiljabbar Noshi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He said that the new scenario, in case it happened, would represent a major political change in Missan compared to previous election four years ago.

Amara, the capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
