Iraq sells oil last month worth more than 6 billion dollars

announced the Ministry of Oil, on Monday, the total oil exports and revenues achieved for the month of January last, according to final statistics issued by the Iraqi oil marketing company [Sumo].
"The amount of exports of crude oil last month amounted to108 million and 190 thousand and 68 barrels, with revenues amounted to six billion and 772 million and 229 thousand dollars," a ministry statement said.
"The statistics did not record any oil exports from the fields of Kirkuk," said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad, noting that "the average price per barrel was 62 dollars and 596 cents."
He pointed out that "the exported quantities were loaded by 31 international companies of different nationalities, from the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya and monolithic buoys on the Gulf," pointing to "the ministry and through its belief in informing the people on the export operations and revenues from it took this monthly action."
