The Minister of Oil, Jabbar Ali Allaibi, on Tuesday, the North Oil companies and oil projects and a company affiliated to the ministry 's pipeline developed an emergency plan to repair the pipeline owned by Baghdad, in order to export crude oil from the Kirkuk oilfields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

The central government also imposed financial sanctions on the region, and asked the neighboring countries to close the border crossings and limit dealing with Baghdad in terms of oil exports.
