وقع العراق أمس مع البنك الدولي اتفاقية قرض بقيمة 250 مليون دولار لسد العجز في ميزانية 2010. Iraq signed yesterday with the World Bank loan agreement worth $ 250 million shortfall in the budget for 2010.
ووقع الاتفاقية من الجانب العراقي وزير المالية باقر جبر الزبيدي، ومن البنك الدولي ممثله في العراق جون ميشيل.وقال الزبيدي في مؤتمر صحفي عقب حفل التوقيع ان مدة القرض 15 عاما بضمنها فترة سماح تبلغ 5 سنوات.واضاف انه سيتم البدء بتسديد القرض باقساط نصف سنوية خلال المدة 2014 - 2024. The agreement was signed by the Iraqi Finance Minister Baqir Jabr Al-Zubaidi, and the World Bank representative in Iraq, John Michel. Zubaidi said at a news conference after the signing ceremony that the duration of the loan 15 years, including a grace period of 5 years. He said he will start to repay the loan during the semi-annual installments period from 2014 to 2024.
واوضح ان القرض ستستخدمه الحكومة في تمويل العجز في الموازنة العامة لعام 2010 وسيكون في متناول وزارة المالية خلال مدة قصيرة بعد توقيع الاتفاقية.واشار الزبيدي الى تلقيه دعوة من الجانب الصيني لحضور حفل توقيع اطفاء 8 مليارات دولار من قيمة الدين الصيني على العراق بعد موافقة مجلس الدولة الصيني على اطفاء هذه الديون، مبينا ان الوفد العراقي سيتوجه الى الصين الاسبوع المقبل لتوقيع الاتفاقية. He said the government will use the loan to finance the deficit in the general budget for 2010 and will have access to the Ministry of Finance within a short time after signing the agreement. Zubeidi He received an invitation from the Chinese side to attend the signing ceremony of extinguishing 8 billion dollars worth of Chinese religion in Iraq after the approval of the Council of State China to extinguish the debt, noting that the Iraqi delegation will travel to China next week to sign the agreement.
من جانبه قال ممثل البنك الدولي ان الموافقة على القرض تمت من قبل مجلس المدراء في البنك الدولي يوم الخامس والعشرين من شباط الماضي، وهو القرض الاول من قرضين طلبهما العراق.واضاف ان البنك الدولي لا يطلب اية ضمانات مقابل هذا القرض لان العراق من المؤسسين للبنك الدولي.
