Member of the Parliamentary Government Program Monitoring Committee, Muhammad al-Baldawi, confirmed on Sunday that the government of Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazimi is going through the most difficult challenges and is in great embarrassment about preparing the budget for the current year, indicating thatthe government has not yet had a clear vision of the budget.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement, “Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s government does not have any clarity with any vision regarding the preparation of the new budget for the current year, especially since the budget that was prepared by the previous government is not consistent with the current conditions that the country is going through because it was placed in light of the stability of oil prices and the lack of Corona epidemic. ”
He added that "the government is passing through the present time in the most difficult position and faces great challenges due to the exacerbation of the economic and health crisis, as well as the difficulty of implementing the demands of the demonstrators, especially those requiring the provision of funds."
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ali Allawi denied, on Sunday, that Iraq borrowed three billion dollars from Saudi Arabia, while the employees demanded sacrifices.
