{Baghdad: Al-Furat News} The Ministry of Communications promised to promote its service by announcing the investment of the Japanese loan project.
The General Company for Communications, one of the formations of the ministry said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "the Japanese loan projectfor investment in the way of participation for marketing and invited specialized companies to submit on this project, including 150 thousand light-line works using the optical access network in Baghdad by the side of Karkh and Rusafa "He said.
"The project for the deployment of the Internet service via copper cable using ADSL technology in the province of Maysan has also been announced."
"The ministry is seeking to secure its services using modern and advanced technologies. Plans have been prepared to publish them in Baghdad and the provinces, and the companies can submit the project until April 15, according to the terms stated on the ministry's website," said Hazem Mohammed Ali, spokesman of the ministry.
"The Japanese loan project was fully completed several months ago and provides Internet Protocol (IP) communications services under the optical access and high-speed Internet projects in a dedicated line that ensures continuous speed and quality around the clock, sometimes".
He added that "the coming days will witness a marked improvement in the service of the Internet and this indicates the Ministry's insistence on developing and improving the services and seeking to permanently publish and expand the scope of its work to include many geographical areas."
