The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The administration said earlier that more than 250 Democrats had been invited to the White House for a 4 p.m. meeting.

Obama and other leading Democrats have been pushing undecided members of the party in the House to back legislation for a sweeping overhaul of the $2.5 trillion U.S. healthcare industry.

The House is due to vote on Sunday afternoon on Obama's top domestic legislative priority, and the final count is expected to be close.
