The digital media center said that Microsoft has decided to stop security support for Windows 7 after January 14, 2020, as security updates will be stopped a year from now.
The Center said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, that "stop technical support for Windows 7requires the modernization of computer operating systems in the state institutions and private institutions in Iraq, most of them operating system Windows 7, to ensure the arrival of security updates.
The center stressed "the need to update directly to Windows 10 as the technical support for Windows 8 and 8.1 will also end in 2023."
