Source: Waiting for the establishment of the Office of the Inspector General of the Central Bank

A source familiar with, on Saturday, a decision to wait for the creation of the Office of the Inspector General of the Central Bank of Iraq.
The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "It was decided to wait in the establishment of the Office of the Inspector General of the Central Bank in reference to the proposalof the Integrity Commission, and the transfer of the work of Mr. Khalid Salman Owaid to the other vacant from the offices of general inspectors."
The source, who asked not to be named, added that this was "in accordance with the legislative provisions of Ordinance 56 of 2004 (Central Bank Law) and the independence enjoyed by the bank provided for in section (1) of the text of the order."
A document issued by the Presidency of the Government, on Thursday, showed a court order to create the offices of general inspectors in the Central Bank of Iraq and the Investment Commission and the Electoral Commission and the Human Rights Commission and the Iraqi Bank for Trade and the Popular Mobilization and the National Security Agency.
