Iraq signs MoU with Saudi Arabia to support traders and businessmen of both countries

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia to support traders and encourage trade between the two countries.
And the memorandum of understanding signed by Iraq on the head of the delegation of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce to Saudi Arabia Abdullah Saleh al-Jubouri and Saudi Arabia's President Riyadh Chamber of Commerce Ajlan Ajlan, in the presence of Iraq's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Qahtan al-Janabi.
The memorandum of understanding represents a strategicframework that outlines the relationship between the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce and the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, which will expand the horizons of cooperation and encourage bilateral trade between the two brotherly countries. The memo included the development of the business and trade sector and the economic work joints between the two countries and the prior coordination on the consolidation of visions and positions in forums and conferences, as well as carrying out economic studies and research to fill gaps in trade and economic laws and international standards.
The MoU supports efforts to encourage the establishment of joint private sector companies between the two countries, support projects in both countries, exchange of information in the economic and commercial fields and urge the authorities in Iraq and Saudi Arabia to facilitate obtaining visas for businessmen of both countries.
For his part, President of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Jaafar al-Hamdani, said the signing of the agreement, which is expected to open a large economic field, could create an attractive environment for investment in both countries.
