French trying to get Iraq out of Chapter 7

French ambassador to Iraq, Boris Bwalun in an exclusive interview with Sawa Radio said that serious discussions are going on in the Security Council to get Iraq out of Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, stressing that France plays an active role in this context.

Bwalun emphasized that his country seeks to return Iraq to the international community.

He emphasized the need to support Iraq economy, clarifying that many French companies are taking preparations to carry out projects in the fields of health and electricity but that will be following the activation of the investment law.

Bearing in mind, France signed in November this year, a partnership agreement with Iraq to promote cultural relations between the two countries.
