Maliki's coalition: the construction did not adopt the nomination of Abdul Mahdi because he is "old"!

The leader of the coalition of state law, Jassem al-Bayati, on Thursday, that the construction coalition did not adopt the nomination of former oil minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to take over the post of prime minister.

Al-Bayati said in an exclusive interview (Baghdad today) that "a lot of political parties refuse to take over Adel Abdul-Mahdi to head thegovernment because of his great age."

He added that "the construction coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki did not take over or adopt the nomination of Abdul Mahdi for the post of prime minister," noting that "the coalition of reform and reconstruction of the proposal as an independent candidate for prime minister."

The Fatah alliance headed by Hadi al-Amiri, on Wednesday, that the former leader of the Supreme Council, Adel Abdul Mahdi, refuses to accept the post of prime minister.

The leader of the coalition MP Amer al-Fayez, in an interview with (Baghdad today), "Adel Abdul-Mahdi refuses to receive the post of prime minister and any executive position, because of its own circumstances, according to confirmed information reached us."

Al-Fayez added that "Abdul-Mahdi has a great chance to take over the post of prime minister, and we expect there to be pressure on him by the reference or other influential parties, to persuade him to take over the post."

The leader of the alliance of Sason, Ayman al-Shammari, confirmed on Monday, (September 17, 2018), that the news that the name of (Adel Abdul Mahdi) as a compromise candidate for the premiership with the support of references Najaf, is incorrect and just rumors.

The leader of the coalition building, Haitham Jubouri, confirmed on Sunday (September 16, 2018), the existence of an agreement between the coalition of construction and reform, and the Kurdish forces to nominate Adel Abdul Mahdi for the post of prime minister of Iraq, while pointed out that Abdul Mahdi had the approval of the religious authority in Iraq.
