The construction coalition revealed on Thursday the existence of a parliamentary movement aimed at withdrawing confidence from the current Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.

The MP said the coalition Ahmed Kanani that "there is a parliamentary movement aimed at withdrawing confidencefrom the current Prime Minister Haider Abadi," noting that "the movement came because of the situation in the province of Basra recently."

And Kanani that "a parliamentary committee will submit its decisions on the situation of Basra, if convinced by the House of Representatives, and proved Abadi defaulted file to resolve the crisis in Basra, there will be a subject to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister, and this is determined by the deputies, vote to withdraw confidence or not.

Basra suffers from a severe shortage of basic services and pollution of potable water, followed by widespread protests that resulted in casualties after clashes with local authorities.
