    CBI announcing they need shredders?

    If this is from january 2010 it's already happend. Maybe just getting rid of old currency.

    I did some more research on this and apparenty they posted a similar request back in 2009...

    (1/2009)

    "Central bank of Iraq invites all bureaus and specialized professional
    companies to participate in the above tender to supply machines for
    currency cancellation, according to the conditions and specifications
    that can be obtained from the General Contracts Division, within twenty
    eight days from the date of publishing this announcement"


    Now I can only assume they are looking for new equipment. This can be because the equipment they currently use is wearing out from shredding bills that are worn or they are planning for the future. It does seem odd that a year later they are tendering more offers. If anyone can find a link to the actual tender, it would be appreciated.
