Leader of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, called on the Iraqi government on Monday to respond to the statements of the Iranian guide’s advisor for international affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, on Iraq, stressing that the latter’s statements are a violationof the country's sovereignty.
Allawi wrote in a tweet on Twitter today, Monday: "The countries that respect their sovereignty, their government is quick to respond to any transgression or breach of sovereignty."

Allawi concluded his tweet with the tag, "#Iraq_Mister_La_Continue".

The advisor of the Iranian guide for international affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, had threatened the American forces in Iraq by forcibly expelling them if they did not leave themselves.

In his speech earlier on Saturday, Velayati said that "Americans must realize that they are leaving Iraq inevitably. The time of the American military presence in Iraq and Syria has reached its end, and then the role of expelling the Americans from Afghanistan will come."

And increased my mandate, that "ending the military presence of the United States in Iraq will lead to the end of its presence in Syria," stressing that "the Americans will leave these two countries soon."

My state stressed that "Iran is the first force in the region, whether the enemy wants it or not," adding that "the line extending from Tehran to Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut and Palestine is the resistance front line and this line will continue."

He believed that "the Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi will gain confidence soon, a warrior and a prominent person with a clean hand and a believer," as he put it.
