The Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, stressed that Iraqis are able to find solutions to all crises and build a better future, and we are optimistic to achieve this.
During his meeting with the Iraqi inventors on their third annual day, Abdul-Mahdi called for boostingIraqi self-confidence, capabilities and competencies, not relying on importing solutions from abroad and removing obstacles and laws that hinder creative initiatives.
"Iraq must be a center of civilization, science and knowledge to possess the fundamentals and characteristics of the advancement," he said. "We should not just listen to the legacy of our civilization without further progress."
The Prime Minister added that "the crises should be the impetus for the creation of solutions similar to the experiences of successful countries that emerged from the wars more powerful and service to humanity inventions and technology provided to the whole world," noting that "inventions and discoveries are indicators of the progress of the United Nations and can achieve a breakthrough and move from the situation "He said.
"The government is going to allocate rewarding prizes to innovators and inventors and to adopt their work and transform them from theories to products," the prime minister said.
