Environment Minister: political reasons behind the postponement of the census in the country and accuses the governor of Nineveh province to disrupt the process of census
Palm - The Environment Minister Nermeen Othman, that there is some political reasons behind the postponement of the general census of the population in Iraq, and accused the governor of Nineveh province to disrupt the census process.
Osman denied during a press statement that the technical reasons behind the repeated delays, and said that the fears of some blocks of knowledge of their true size is behind the repeated postponements of the census year.
Osman stressed that the census-General needs a strong political will and consensus of the blocks on a specific date for that stressing the need to be conducting the census has been accepted domestically and internationally, and being at one time in all parts of Iraq without exception.
