Al Maliki and Allawi share compatible views

Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Nuri Al Maliki and Al Iraqiya List leader Iyad Allawi met on Tuesday at the house of National Reform Party Leader Ibrahim Al Jaafari.
Al Maliki and Allawi agreed on the necessity to reach joint mechanisms over the formation of new governmental institutions.
Both leaders announced that they will hold joint meetings until the formation of the new government.
Al Jaafari said he was surprised by the extent of entente between Al Maliki and Allawi.
