Foreign Minister receives deputy U.S. Secretary of State
Received, and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari at his residence in London on the morning of 3/30/2011, Mr. Jeffrey Feltman, Deputy U.S. Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, During the meeting, they discussed prospects of bilateral relations and expand and develop cooperation in various fields after the withdrawal of U.S. troops at the end of this year , and consider the possibility of convening the third meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee between the two countries for political cooperation and diplomatic in Baghdad.
They also touched on how that can be performed through an end to the provisions of Security Council resolutions adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations concerning the situation between Iraq and Kuwait.
And this was noted during the meeting to the changes taking place in the Arab region following the calls for change and reform in some Arab countries, and regarded as of significant shifts in the Arab region.
