Iraqi Trade Minister, participate in the meeting of Ministers of Economy and Finance Tomorrow Arabs

Cairo, February 8 (Rn) – shared the Iraqi Trade Minister Khairallah Babiker at the meetings of the ministerial session of new Eighty-ninth of the Council of Arab Economic and Social Headquarters of the Secretariat of the League in Cairo to discuss the preparation for the Arab summit normal to be held in Baghdad in March next year.

The representative of Iraq to the Arab League Qais Al-Azzawi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) today, said, “The Trade Minister will attend the meetings to the fact that Iraq is the head of the next summit should be rallying the economy ministers Arabs to attend the Arab summit in Baghdad for a meeting of their own before the meetings of foreign ministers,” noting that senior officials in all Arab countries and those responsible for social and economic affairs “have completed their own preparations for the meeting tomorrow, Thursday, at the level of ministers and for three consecutive days.”

For her part, Assistant Secretary-General to the President of Social Affairs of the Arab League Ambassador in particular research that “the Economic and Social Council discussed today the results of the Committees of Social and Economic Council, as well as the setup and preparation for the meeting of the Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level especially social issues which is a priority in the areas of development work, the Arab common, particularly the holding of an Arab conference on the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals “, noting that the importance of this conference lies in the fact that will prepare an assessment of the status of development in the Arab countries at the same time would put a road map for the Arab States to complete the implementation of the Millennium Goals by 2015, especially the goals related to reducing poverty, unemployment and gender equality, improve health care.

She explained that the outputs of this conference will be presented to the Summit of Arab economic and social development next to be held early next year in Riyadh, and will also display the results of the conference to meet the high-level of the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2013 on the Millennium Development Goals.
