Economic policy working group plans to draw upon the expertise of international
Agreed economic policy team, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways economy on hiring Iraqis or foreigners from international organizations and university professors economy. The team includes in its membership the Ministers of Finance and the oil and the Iraqi Central Bank Governor and Chairman of Supreme Audit.
A statement by the Office of Shaways on Wednesday that the meeting discussed the main challenges facing the Iraqi economy and the shift towards a free market economy and the fight against chronic unemployment and inflation and the disruption of the structure of the economy and foreign debt and the reconstruction of infrastructure, as well as economic legislation and issues of corruption.
The statement added that the team decided to also study these challenges, prioritize and develop an action plan based on the scientific study of the purely professional economic policy-making.
