Mahdi calls for Iraq’ economic development and policies to be evaluated in order to support the poor
Called the leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council former Vice-President Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to re-evaluate the importance of customs and inflationary policies and economic stepping stone to building a successful economy and solid, and a review of policy support for the rationalization for the benefit of the poor and improve their situation.
A statement by his office received by the agency all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that “Abdul-Mahdi, sponsored his office and workshop on the application of Article [111] of the Constitution, which states that the [oil and gas is the property of all the Iraqi people in all regions and provinces].”
He added that he “participated in the workshop legal experts, economists, technicians and political figures and parliamentary, which was to discuss mechanisms for implementing this Article of legal terms, and the possibility of the enactment of the House of Representatives in this regard.”
The statement said “it was discussing the positive results and negative consequences as a result of the application of this material on the Iraqi economy and development projects, construction and per capita income of Iraq.”
