Palm - said legal expert Ahmed Abbadi said the number required for the removal of House Speaker Osama Najafi has been achieved after collection (110) signatures of its members and the Council put it to the vote.
He Abadi in a written statement Saturday that Article II / II of the Code of replacing members of the House of Deputies (49) for the year (2007) approved fire the head of the Council of his absolute majority of members of parliament and request a reasoned one third of the members of parliament and that's where the signatories were (110 ) deputies, the required number has been achieved to be considered more than one third of the members of parliament.
He Abadi said dismiss parliament speaker from office consequent loss of president and retains his capacity as a member of Parliament, because the previous law select cases of impeachment of membership limited to a resignation, death and the issuance of a felony and disease and absence of more than a third of Council meetings.
He said he had been elected to succeed Speaker article absolute majority of deputies present after quorum is achieved if we assume that the number of deputies present (200) member, the president is elected with the consent of (101) member only pursuant to the provisions of Article (12) III of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
