1-15-2013 Mailman17 ACTUALLY...THE NEWS IS VERY MISLEADING...BACK AND FORTH, BUT I DO LIKE THE FACT THAT MALIKIS AT THE END OF HIS ROPE... LOTS OF GOOD STUFF COMING OUT OF PARLIAMENT AS WELL. LOTS OF LAWS BEING EITHER READ....OR VOTED ON...WATCH CLOSELY ESPECIALLY THE 2 TERM ONE. I ASSUME THEY HAVENT YET ASKED FOR AN EXTENSION ON THE LOAN DUE FEB 23RD? NOT THAT THEY WILL GET IT...AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU HEAR ABOUT CHAP 7 THEY AINT GETTING IT TILL THE UN IS SATISFIED AND THE BENCHMARKS ARE DONE...NO MATTER WHAT IRAQ SAYS, 140, HCL, KUWAIT MUST BE DONE AND FINAL...WE NEED IT IN WRITING PERIOD. I ALSO GOT A CALL FROM A FRIEND THAT TOLD ME A BOOT ON THE GROUND COMING BACK FROM IRAQ TOLD HIM THE DINAR IS SCARCE ONT HE STREETS LITERALLY ANOTHER GOOD SIGN. THE END OF THIS INVESTMENT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SPECULATION...WE NEVER TRULY KNEW HOW IT WOULD END POLITICALLY BUT WE KNEW...THE FACTS BOTH FROM THE CBI AND OUTSIDE ENTITIES. WE HOPED IT WOULD GO SMOOTH, WE WERE WRONG BUT WE WERE NOT WRONG IN THE CONCLUSION, PAYDAY IT IS COMING
1-15-2013 ****** IM BEING TOLD THIS WILL ALL BE DONE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY NIGHT, NO LATER, maybe thursday. what would you all say if i told you a buddy of mine at chase bank is telling me it is all but done and they are having extending banking hours saturday as well as wf [Wells Fargo]...two calls tonight told me that, now why would they do that...they did not say rv but told me its done and we have extended banking hours.
1-15-2013 SteveI Here is a quick update that is very positive. The parliament told the media (Iraqi TV)...that they will be voting on the Amnesty Law and Budget in tomorrows session. I find this great news. The problem has been Allawi and his people not agreeing and walking out the other day. I think this will be behind us very soon. We will keep you posted with updates as we get them.
1-15-2013 Poppy3 i am still receiving emails about iraq being removed from chapter 7 to chapter 6 and what that means...chapter 7 to 6 means they must settle all debt and it will stop all judicial proceedings against them. If they must pay and settle all debt to move to 6 then I suspect they will have to RV their money prior or during the proceedings.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN EDUCATION AND A GOOD ONE TO KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED AND WHAT IS MANDATORY IN BUILDING A NATION ESPECIALLY A DEMOCRATIC ONE. THE PEOPLE ARE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY...IF THEY HAD THE REAL TASTE OF WHAT DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM IS THEY WOULD NEVER WANT TO RETURN TO ANY OTHER WAY.
1-16-2013 Footforward Talabani is not dead, he is in Germany getting help for his back, but if he did die, it doesn't change anything. Maliki will be elected if we don't have an RV by the elections. He will stick around until the RV and then he will disappear. Maliki is the guy that we want in there. There has been no live rate on the dong. The budget doesn't matter, the budget will be opened when it RV's, they can't open it until then. The Standby Agreement is in place until February 23rd. They can renew it at the last minute. If they don't have an RV and they do not renew it, Iraq basically will have no money. I am hearing pretty much everyday that the RV can happen at anytime. We are waiting on one final step. I am expecting this to go anytime...and I expect it to have a high rate.

Until they get the agriculture and manufacturing up to snuff, they have no use for the WTO. The free market economy will bring investment, which will result in products. The WTO will come, but not before the dinar has value and Iraq accepts Article 8.

However, i am a warrior and will continue giving you the best information that i can get. in summary there is nothing negative...everything is great and we just still waiting for the historical moment. [Have you heard what might have happened or anything new?] "in" people still expecting it any time now. i think it is just a matter of protocol...the political situation in Iraq is not the hold up or the budget...the political situation is taking care by UNAMI and will not preclude Iraq from be moved from ch 7...imo iraq will be moved from ch 7 to ch 6 during this month. so i expect the transfer and the rv at the same time. we're still great.
1-16-2013 Adam Montana the CBI is hinting that they are looking at ways to increase the value...I haven't seen anything too dramatic, just the normal can-kicking. regarding the budget, we have to understand that they aren't going to tell us how or when a major increase in value will happen - the official "budget" is a formality that can be adjusted or completely changed due to a major event like an RV. On the other side of the coin, the HCL and Erbil are also major factors - think of it like Dominoes. When one falls, we can expect a chain of events to happen. In fact it would be foolish to NOT expect a chain of events to take place.
