President of the Republic participates in the meetings of the General
Assembly of the United Nations

Union: arrived His Excellency President Jalal Talabani on Saturday, to
the United States at the head of the Iraqi delegation at the meetings
of the General Assembly of the United Nations in its sixty-fifth
session in New York, will deliver a speech His Excellency the Republic
of Iraq at the United Nations.
As well as participation in the meetings of the Socialist
International to be held there as well as Vice-Chairman. President
Talabani will also participate in the annual meeting of CGI
International.
On the sidelines of meetings of the Assembly will meet with His
Excellency also a number of Heads of States participating in those
meetings, where he will discuss with them bilateral relations between
Iraq and these countries and ways of developing them, as well as
discuss issues of common concern.
The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani led a delegation of Iraq to
participate in the sixtieth session of the General Assembly meetings
of the United Nations in September 2005, at which His Excellency the
speech in which he called the world to participate in the
reconstruction of Iraq on the basis of partnership and sense of common
responsibility and mutual respect, and said that the experience of
Iraq for over than three decades, reflecting the features of a unique
experience and a history lesson profound connotations and
consequences, and is in the statement of the meaning of that
development is the other face of freedom and democracy.
It also gave President Talabani a speech to the sixty-first session of
the General Assembly of the United Nations, which took place in
