    Sunday, March 27th 2011 11:24 PM

Baghdad, March 27 (AKnews) - An MP from the Iraqiya list said Sunday that the political blocs agreed to submit candidates for the ministries of security by the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki before next Wednesday to vote for them.

Itab al-Dawri told AKnews that the Iraqiya list presented to the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki the names of four candidates for the Defense Minister post.

Dawri refused to name the candidates but added that "the names that her bloc submitted are accepted because it is independent and efficient.

"Most of the candidates who are acceptable by the prime minister for the defense minister post is the candidate Khalid al-Obeidi, revealing about "an agreement between the political blocs in the parliament that the Prime Minister submit his candidates for the posts of security ministries of interior, defense, national security and intelligence before next Wednesday."

"Resolving the nomination files for the security ministries is now done by adopting national consensus between the political blocs, and the positions of the political blocs are improving toward achieving the positions."

The Iraqi parliament granted at its meeting held on Dec. 21 confidence to the incomplete government headed by Nouri al-Maliki.

The Iraqi Parliament approved on Feb.13 on appointing eight new ministers out of nine nominated by the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's government to complete the government formation which remains in need to appoint ministers of security planning.
